In November, Markey’s partnered with the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) to produce their 2021 Global Congress. The international virtual conference was broadcast live from each of the following four countries to attendees across the globe:  South Africa, Argentina, United States, and Australia.   

The ISAKOS Congress continues to be considered the premier international orthopaedic meeting, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to share, discuss and learn the latest advancements in arthroscopy, knee surgery and sports medicine. The ISAKOS Congresses are truly international gatherings, known for their vitality and variety, as well as diverse and high quality presentations. These events serve the ISAKOS mission of advancing the worldwide exchange and dissemination of education, research and patient care in arthroscopy, knee surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine.

For the 2021 ISAKOS Global Congress, Markey’s was able to secure studio spaces in each of the four cities for the capturing of live presentations and as a hub for event engagement between the audience, the presenters and between each of the four studios. The HD video and audio streams of the in-studio presentations were sent to the Markey’s Virtual Broadcast Center in Indianapolis, Indiana (USA) along with remote presentations from around the globe and were mixed and rebroadcast live as a single feed on the Markey’s MVP Platform.

• Markey’s built and managed virtual event site for attendance and engagement
• Used SRT and VMix Call technology for remote audio and video transmission of switched feeds to the Markey’s Virtual Broadcast Center in Indianapolis.
• Fully produced event including: 

   - Virtual graphic overlays for all four locations with detailed preset design

   - Detailed run-of-show and script 

   - Content management and normalizing of 100 pre-recorded presentations to ensure consistent and even playback

   - Table reads and dress rehearsal
