We began our operations in 1959 as a 16 mm film rental company established by Mrs. Martelle "Marty" Markey. Markey's line of business has evolved into a multi-service staging and audiovisual rental company over the last six decades. Markey's has branch offices throughout the Midwest, Central Florida, Southwest Texas, Colorado and Washington D.C.. We can provide audiovisual services in any hotel, convention center or other meeting venue anywhere in the United States.
In 2012 Markey's became an employee-owned company via an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), an exciting move for all employees and our customers alike. This ensures continuity of our services for many years to come.
In 2014 a cross section of employee-owners went off-site for 3 days and created Our Ideals. These Ideals, created by the employees, are at the heart of everything we do at Markey’s and are reflected in all of our daily interactions.
