On March 14, 2013, Markey's Rental & Staging partnered with Visit Indy for the 22nd year to provide audiovisual services for the ROSE Awards Gala. ROSE stands for Recognition of Service Excellence and is a prestigious award for those in the hospitality industry, the people on the front lines serving customers. The elegant event was held at the historic Indiana Roof Ballroom, where the 95 nominees together with their families and co-workers came together to celebrate and await the announcement of the ten ROSE Award winners' names.
So that the 700 guests would not miss any of the celebration, three 9' x 12' screens were set up for 8k projectors, and 3 cameras were shooting live I-Mag of the event. An interesting touch Markey's provided was projecting the names of all 95 nominees on the ceiling in rotating fashion with four LX-700 projectors. Markey's also provided Martin Stagebars and Mac 250s for stage lighting, room lighting, and ballyhoos.
Markey's own Megs Neyer was a nominee for a ROSE award, and she celebrated with her family and Markey's colleagues, including Chuck Markey, Jr., CEO.
