Fun at the Big Ten Fan Fest

The 2015 Big Ten Fan Fest, an annual interactive game and entertainment event, took place in conjunction with the Big Ten Football Championship Game in Indianapolis. Markey's Rental & Staging, the preferred audiovisual provider at the Indiana Convention Center provided a wide variety of services and gear to enhance the entertainment value for the 60,000-80,000 fans expected during the two day event. In the more than 200,000 square foot space, Markey's provided the following:
Fan Fest Entrance
The 2015 Fan Fest entrance was flanked on both sides with 15 foot x 45 foot screens provided by Markey’s. The screens featured rear-projection of the season’s highlights from Michigan State and Iowa football games.

Dr. Pepper Field
Dr. Pepper Field was the site of youth football clinics, pep rallies, and celebrity appearances. Markey's installed a large sound system, lighting for the field, and screens for HD video projection of graphics and cable TV feed of other football games.

Call the Play
Fans had first-hand experience posing as a game analyst, sitting at a desk custom designed BigTen anchor desk that Markey's had fabricated. Microphones, a sound system and video monitors rounded out the experience.

Games & Viewing Stations
Throughout the Convention Center were various stations for fans to relax and get off their feet while enjoying video games or watching college football games. Markey’s provided monitors throughout, ranging from 42"-65" in size and gaming consoles.

Pre-Game Hospitality Suite
For VIPs only, this hospitality suite featured various decorative elements (drape, uplighting, etc), a stage with moving lights and more than 20 monitors ranging from 55"-65" enabling viewing of all the other college football games happening around the country.
