Markeys Selected for JW Marriott Austin, Largest in United States

Markey’s Rental & Staging is proud to announce they have been selected as the in-house event technology provider for the JW Marriott Austin, the largest JW Marriott in the country, which opens in February 2015.

Markey’s, headquartered in Indianapolis, IN and with regional offices nationally, has been the audiovisual provider for the JW Marriott Indianapolis since its opening in February 2011.  Markey’s serves the hotel’s guests for a wide range of events, from annual conventions and conferences, galas, and awards ceremonies while providing all elements of the hotels Event Technology needs.

Scott Blalock, formerly General Manager of the JW Marriott Indianapolis and now the GM for JW Marriott Austin, explained the selection, saying, “We are thrilled to have Markey’s Rental & Staging as our in-house event technology provider.  They have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and back it up with a proven track record of success with the JW Marriott Indianapolis.”

Trent Turchi has been promoted as the Director of Event Technology for the Markey’s staff at the JW Marriott Austin, and Brian Solomon will serve as the Director of Sales for Markey’s.  Both have worked for Markey’s more than ten years and have served as Directors at the JW Marriott Indianapolis and the Indiana Convention Center respectively.
