Markey’s continues to enhance its audiovisual equipment including video equipment. Our inventory includes projectors, flat panel monitors, projection screens, video monitors, cameras, etc.

Projectors

Markey’s has always stayed ahead of the game on projection and we continue to do so by offering only 3-chip DLP projectors for large venue projection. We own ‘Christie Digital’ projectors as well as various ‘high end’ Panasonic DLP projectors. ANSI lumen outputs from 5000 to 16,000. We also have true 1920 x 1080i HD projectors as well. For each these projectors, we have various lens options. All of our larger venue projectors can be converged for higher brightness output as well as an “on-line” back-up option. All of our larger venue projectors can also be rigged and flown to solve various logistical issues with projection. Blending is very common on events recently and we have multiple projectors of the same type for the best blending options. For breakouts and smaller venues we offer various models of Panasonic DLP & LCD projectors.
Flat Panel Monitors

In flat panel display, size and resolution is the key. We have solutions for both. Each of our Plasma/LCD monitor options are high resolution and we have these size options: 17”, 19”, 20”, 21”, 32”, 40”, 42”, 50” & 61”. All of our 32” and higher sizes are wide screen models. Our larger flat monitors have floor and table stand options. Also they can mount to truss or on a wall plate. We can use black, flat panels for downstage monitors and for trade show displays. A number of our flat panels have HD tuners included as an all purpose presentation monitor.
Markey’s also has 17” touch screens for surveys or other applications.

For larger venues we own several sizing options for Truss frame screens. From 6’x 8’ to 18’ x 24’, we realize the need for fitting the right screen to the right venue. We also have 16 x 9 format options for Truss frame screens. All of our Truss frame screens can be flown or ground supported. Each has front and rear fabrics and black cloth backing for eliminating ambient light for front projection. Just recently we added super large screen options to our
capabilities: 17’ x 40’ or even larger. Projection is our specialty and we have added several options for front projection such as large cyclorama fabrics and other materials fit to enhance any event. For smaller rooms and breakout we have all the same sizes with dress kit options in grey and sometimes blue.

Markey’s doesn’t let high quality stop when small devices either are purchased. For production monitors, we purchase only high resolution Sony& JVC 8” to 14” monitors. All of our camera switcher packages contain broadcast quality production monitors and our data switching packages contain multi-scan flat panel LCD monitors. We even keep tube style video monitors in inventory when the need arises. We have all matching RCA and
Mitsubishi units ranging from 20” to 40” tube monitors.

Professional Cameras – Sony
Sony really leads the market on professional production cameras. We have several available and all of our camera accessories are also the best that we have found. Our cameras are DXC-D35 camera heads. We have standard Composite, Component and SDI options as well.
All of our camera packages contain studio kits and various cable length choices for maximum versatility. We specialize in video image magnification and we rely heavily on keeping our cameras in the best condition.
As we expand into the HD market, we have started with smaller HD cameras and are now offering full studio configuration HD camera packages.

For the standard playback and record needs, we have various options for Beta SP large and small format. Also DVCam, HDVCam and mini DV are available. In the digital realm, we offer straight to DVD recording as well as hard-drive storage and editing. Our Grass Valley Turbo IDDR’s give us the versatility to instantly play back any clip in any format while recording to a hard drive simultaneously. We have had much success in recording direct to hard drive for immediate web usage or archiving. Just because we have kept up in the newest advances in media, we haven’t forgotten the basics. We own multiple devices for VHS, S-VHS, D-VHS, DVD and other older formats.
Video Switchers
For video switching, we can input any format and switch to any format as well. Our ‘fly packs’ are compact but powerful systems of switching, metering and fine-tuning with easy to connect options for various applications in the field. We have multi-resolution converters to bring in computers or other display sources as well as output to any display device. With HD now being incorporated in our systems, we have a multi-resolution video switcher that will take any high resolution signal format and incorporate it with any video format for seamless switching.
Multi Format Switchers & Scalers
There are usually two schools of thought: switch for recording and switch for display. Either is handled with superior equipment.
Data switching has become more and more exciting in our world. We use Folsom Research devices to give us multiple options and routing any input to any, and several outputs. This allows for edge blending, super large video backgrounds and high-resolution displays on multiple planes and surfaces. Folsom Research switching devices allow for any format to be seamlessly switched to any display device. We use an Encore system as our main multi-format/multi-layer presentation system.

Our teleprompting services have been enhanced with new software and hardware all designed for maximum versatility. All the variations that we have experienced with teleprompting has led us to offer several solutions with quality equipment. A standard lectern presidential kit is available. Prompting can be done on a camera mount for studio work. We also have the accessories to utilize down-stage monitors and “back-of-the-room” screens as additional options for the teleprompter.
