The 2012 Big Ten Fan Fest took place in conjunction with the Big Ten Football Championship Game in Indianapolis for the second year at the Indiana Convention Center (ICC). Markey's Rental & Staging, the preferred audiovisual provider at the ICC provided a wide variety of services and gear to enhance the entertainment value for the 30,000 fans expected during this two day event November 3 - December 1, 2012. In this space of 200,000 square feet, Markey's provided the following:
Dr. Pepper Field
Dr. Pepper Field was the site of youth football clinics, pep rallies, and celebrity appearances. Markey's installed a large sound system, lighting for the field, and screens for High Definition projection of graphics and cable TV feed of other football games.
Call the Play
This is where fans could have first-hand experience posing as a game analyst, sitting at a desk that Markey's had custom-designed by Impact Group featuring the Big Ten logo. Microphones, sound system and video monitors rounded out the experience.
Championship/Big Ten Network Stage
Football legends made their appearances on this stage, so Markey's has set up a sound system with multiple wireless microphones.
Legends & Leaders Grill
Not only a place to eat and drink, the Grill was the site where fans could also watch the other college football games on the 12 monitors throughout, ranging from 42"-65" in size.
Pre-Game Hospitality Suite
For VIPs only, this hospitality suite featured gobos of the Big Ten logo to provide a decorative element, and 20 monitors ranging from 55"-65" enabled VIPs to enjoy viewing all the other college football games being played on Saturday.
