Big Ten Fan Fest: Markey's and The Colonnade Group Transform Convention Center

Last Saturday, Markey's Rental & Staging helped transform the Indiana Convention Center into the Big 10 Fan Fest, in celebration of the Big 10 Championship game being played at Lucas Oil Stadium that night.  The event drew in 30,000 sports fans.
Highlights included:

*The Call of the Play Stage had a custom designed desk for fans to sit behind, getting the feel of being a real play-by-play announcer.
*A life-size replica Big 10 Trophy was highlighted by spotlights as fans entered through the main entrance.
*Five gaming stations were set up, each comprised of a flat screen monitor and modern white leather seating for a contemporary Xbox gaming area.
*Leaders & Legends Grill was designed as a place where guests could watch other games in a relaxing environment on twelve large monitors.
*The Dr. Pepper Field consisted of an Astroturf field where guests could participate in running, throwing, and catching contests, and Markey’s provided lighting, truss, sound and HD projection.
*Touchscreen monitors were a big hit for Big Ten Trivia, where guests could test their knowledge.
Overall, more than 40 large-screen monitors were used throughout the venue.

Markey's also provided audiovisual support for the RV Nation party at the corner of South & Penn, and the Georgia Street Tailgate Party on the new pedestrian pavilion.  It was an exciting event, and one we look forward to replicating next year!
