Markey’s Rental & Staging Announces Leadership Changes

Indianapolis, Indiana -- Markey’s Rental & Staging has announced that Chuck Markey, Jr. has decided to retire as CEO of the company but will remain as Chairman of the Board. Mark Miller, who has served as the President of Markey’s since 2006 will now serve as President and CEO. Mr. Markey sold the company to the employees in 2012 in the form of an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).

“Mark has worked tirelessly for Markey’s since he began in 1986. Mark has been a friend and confidant of mine for over 30 years and I have no doubt about his ability to lead our company” stated Mr. Markey. “I know his commitment to Markey’s and our employees will never waiver. I am very happy that we will continue our tradition of promoting from within which will allow our commitment to customer service and our Ideals to continue into the future.”

“Chuck Markey has had tremendous success in creating a company that has a national presence from its humble beginnings here in Indianapolis,” Miller said. “We are thankful for the impact he has made on the company and on each of us. We are proud of his distinguished tenure as our CEO and are excited to see him move into this new chapter of his life.”
