Markey’s Rental & Staging, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is pleased to reveal that it has been awarded the contract as the on-site audiovisual provider of the new Westin Austin Downtown Hotel, which recently opened on July 16, 2015 in Austin, Texas.
This announcement comes shortly after Markey’s was also selected as the on-site event technology provider for the JW Marriott Austin, and Markey’s President Mark Miller commented, “We are proud to partner with the Westin Austin Downtown and to expand our services in the Austin area. We look forward to serving the guests of the property with the high levels of customer service, quality equipment and technical skills that our reputation is built on.” He noted that Markey’s will have a newly purchased and comprehensive inventory of high-quality equipment and décor on-site, exclusively for the use of the Westin’s clientele – but should additional or specialty gear be required, Markey’s Austin warehouse is located only 10 minutes away.
Michael Lewis, Markey’s Director of Event Technology for this property, is uniquely suited for his position at this hotel, as he has years of experience in both the audiovisual industry and the arena of personal, superior customer service. He recently relocated from Indianapolis to Austin in preparation of the Grand Opening of the property.
The Westin Austin Downtown Hotel is conveniently located one block from the Austin Convention Center, with 15,000 square feet of meeting space for its guests.
