Special Events for AV Pros Adds Fun and Value for Attendees

InfoComm 09 will be filled with valuable networking activities and special events that will provide its projected 30,000 commercial AV professionals and technology managers in attendance with many memorable moments. The largest commercial audiovisual conference and tradeshow will be held June 14-19, 2009, in Orlando, Florida.

Manufacturers’ Forum

On Tuesday, June 16, this free, must-attend event will reveal industry trends and predictions from some of the leading names in commercial AV.  Moderated by Brad Grimes, editor of ProAV, this session will feature insights from Thomas Hansen, Vice President, Bosch Security Systems, Inc., Communications Systems Division; Pierre Richer, President and COO, NEC Display Solutions Americas; Joseph Sigrist, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Video Solutions Division, Polycom; and Jeff Porter, Executive Vice President, Scala, Inc.

InfoComm Opening Reception

InfoComm’s legendary networking event continues to be a can’t-miss part of the Show.  This reception, held the evening of June 16, is always a huge success and is the perfect kick-off celebration before the opening day of the Show. Sponsored by Bosch Communications Systems, West Penn Wire and NSCA, the Opening Reception features music, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails and provides an ideal venue for meeting new colleagues and catching up with old friends.

International Reception

On June 17, international attendees and exhibitors from all around the globe are invited to relax and unwind at this popular reception. Rental & Staging Forum and Reception

For more than a decade, this has been a must-attend event.  On June 17, the forum features a panel comprised of industry professionals from around the world sharing solutions to common problems and insight into common issues facing the industry.  The reception immediately following provides a great opportunity for making connections and renewing contacts.
