On November 17th, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Awards Dinner, with over 1,500 business, political and community leaders in attendance.  Former Pittsburg Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw gave the keynote presentation.

Puttin' On the Pink

Breast cancer awareness month kicked off with Pink Ribbon Connection's Puttin' on the Pink.  The annual fashion show featuring fashions by Nordstrom was held on Saturday, October 8th at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.  Each model was either a breast cancer survivor or a health care provider in the breast cancer field.  This primary fundraiser supports Pink Ribbon Connection's mission that no one should face breast cancer alone. Markey's Rental & Staging is honored to have served over the years as the audiovisual services provider for Pink Ribbon Connection.  Our scope of work this year included:  I-Mag projection, screens, intelligent lighting, video projection on the hard set backdrop and technical support.

Wyndham Global Town Hall in Indianapolis!

After several months of planning and collaboration with Markey's creative staff, the Wyndham Exchange & Rentals Q2 Global Town Hall was held on June 8th at Resort Condominiums International (RCI) in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The event was held in an air-conditioned 134' ClearSpan tent for over 1,200 employees, and included a multi-dimensional set design, with various projected images.  Combined with impressive audio equipment, this design granted Wyndham the capability to project a phenomenal amount of energy and excitement for this event, exactly the mood that was desired for this occasion. 

 
NCAA Cirque du Salute

Markey's Rental & Staging was proud to be a part of the NCAA Cirque du Salute event at the Indiana Convention Center.  Markey's designed and executed an exciting room transformation to welcome the Women's Final Four teams of Texas A&M, Stanford, Notre Dame and Connecticut to Indianapolis.  Cirque Dreams performers entertained the crowd as fans waited for the four teams to walk a red carpet into the venue, and acrobats performed to open and close the evening's festivities.
Celebration of Caring for Peyton Manning Children'

Peyton Manning's Celebration of Caring fundraiser rocks the house and raises over $1M at its fourth annual fundraising event for Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent.  Emcee for the evening was sports announcer Bob Costas, and Peyton was joined by his father Archie and country music star Kenny Chesney for a very entertaining evening.

 

This was Markey's third year as part of the creative team that produced the look and feel of the event, which amazingly tied elements of elegance, football, and country music into one gala event.
